The LEAD event honors law enforcement officers from the Valdosta Police Department, Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, and the Georgia State Patrol. All proceeds from the event are placed in the Rotary Law Enforcement fund and used for the assistance and recognition of officers who serve residents of Lowndes County. In the past 16 years, this fund has assisted officers and their families in times of natural disaster, medical emergencies, and other urgent needs.
